Default beauty/industrial concepts

Hi,
I have a photo-shoot planned for the weekend with a few models & makeup artist. I have a location a yard/car-park with lots of pallets, a container, red brick walls & a factory floor with a forklift. there is also some rivers, longboats & bridges nearby. I also have a lastolite hi-lite background with grey & green screen backdrop.

I think it case of having too much to choose from because I am struggling to put my ideas together.

Initially I planned on hi-key beauty shots wide apertures to knock the backgrounds out of focus but i would like to incorporate the surroundings i have to work with in some way.

normally i tend to go for well lighted shots capturing my models as natural as possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions???

TIA

PB.

First of all, wow... congrats on getting that all set up and it sounds like you have a fantastic space to work with... and having hair/makeup.. etc...

My opinion... go with the flow once you get there... youve got the equipment, youve got the tools to make it all happen, and now.. lets hope that the weather holds out for you and you can make it happen
i think maybe leaving hte backgrounds all in the bags and work with your backgrounds and space first... then if you get bored with all of that then move onto those.

i didnt see a reflector in your "bag" ?

good luck!

Perhaps a good old fashion round table, bouncing ideas off of each other, should start the day. A great way to get to know each other. Personalities can be a helpful tool for ideas, also.

I started doing that in the emails preceding the shoot, problems is I'm getting the feeling that they will be looking to me to have all the ideas. I have asked many times for their thoughts & ideas but so far only 1x has replied. Normally this would not be an issue for me, but coupled with the stress of organising the whole thing then along with usual stress on the home front etc this time I am struggling for inspiration. Rankin keeps leaping out at me though & i may lean towards that unless something else takes me on the day.
