Hello,
I have been a long time reader of this place and I have seen amazing work by everyone here, I was invited to take pictures at a friend birthday party which is a dual party - now I only have a Canon 7D and 1.8 lens and not so much money - I know it will be indoor shots at night around 9ish - this is my first time taking pictures of multiple people behind seamless paper I guess so I am wondering if there is any advice i can get from people in here - anything I should rent that is affordable I am located in Toronto, Canada |

Thanks Jimmy, I hope I get at least a few or even one response before friday. I should also mention I need some sort of stand for the seamless paper but the name right now is eluding me, I am wondering if I could rent that too.

What color will the paper be? How long have you been taking pictures? Do you have any experience working with stobes? How were you planning on lighting the people and background?

I moved this over to Photographing People. Is your intention to set-up a photo area with the seamless background? If so, yes, you could rent a lighting kit but I would suggest you do so with enough time to actually practice with it.
