Default newborn shoot!

hey guys! I am doing my first newborn shoot next week and need a little advice. Is there any poses that are a *must have* in your opinion? I love little baby bare booties and getting the feet in mom or dad's hands. Also am planning on trying a little propping to see if he will sleep while I move him where I want! (he is 3 weeks) Any more suggestions? Thanks!

I did a newborn shoot recently and over estimated my comfort with newborns. As a mom I've handled a newborns, even friends babies however a "strangers" newborn was totally different. It took me over an hour to feel comfortable handling him. He may have just not been a comfortable poser, but I think its more likely that I was not comfortable handing him into the poses. I flipped the switch and went for more....I guess, organic poses. As much as you want to feel in control, its going to be that three week old. If he gets cranky, hungry, upset....its all on his watch. Good luck!
