Help Needed : Young modle poses

I need some help Please I need some help . this lady has a daughter who is 18 years of age and who whats to get in to modleing , she asked if i would take her photos . do you know where i would find out about the poses needed . I want to make her look respectable as a young lady and at the same time make the shots sale her If you know please let me know where i would find this Info.......?????
and what lens , lighting ,
Canon t1i,7-d . 50mm1.4 , 28-135mm , 85mm,70-300mm. 580ex, 430excanon .
should I take them out side are in side lighting ?

Welcome to DPS.
You should talk with the young lady and find out a little about her and what she wants, a little about what she likes etc. It will help you to capture some of her personality. If she wants model shots it could be head and shoulders, head only or full length. You can google model poses and get a thousand + hits. Based on what you end up choosing for the pose will help you decide how to light it and what lens to choose.

Have her buy several copies of different popular women's magazines like Elle and Cosmopolitan and have her either tear out the poses she likes or mark them with Post-It notes.
