Default Help Planning a Breast Cancer Survivor Photo Shoot

Hi,
I'm relatively new to photography and have been "asked to volunteer" to take individual pictures of women who have survived breast cancer at the next Relay for Life Brunch in my city. The pictures will be posted on a "wall of hope".

I tried doing some research but can't find anyone else who has done something similar.

Any ideas of what I should do other than a standard head shot?

Thanks!

It is a run yes?
Some action shots. If they have a social after then some candids. Some pre-race capture of people signing in. Before and after the race there will be small groups of women visiting with each other, play the role of weding photog and ask them for a group pic.
Most of all if you are having fun, and look like you are having fun, people will have fun with you and your camera in return.
good luck!

Thanks so much. It's actually for the "survivor brunch" after the race . . . but maybe I'll try to go really early and get some of the race itself - good idea.

Yup, so at the brunch, go into candid wedding photg mode... you'll do great!
