Default 24-105mm VS 28-135mm

Which of the two lenses will you recommend me to buy ? I will mainly use it for indoor full body shots of people (model shooting).
My camera is Canon Rebel T1

1. EF 24-105mm f/4

2. 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6

Which of the two will it be best for my needs ? Ofcourse i will use it for outside shots too but mostly for indoor full body portrait shots

thanks

I own one and of the two you are looking at I would choose the the 24-105 mainly because of its build quality, bokeh, constant F4 and IQ.

I would also consider the
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM mainly becsuse off all the above reasons & it is a F2.8 lens. (I don't own one)

Like Richard Taylor I chose the 24-105 for the same reasons. The 28-135 was the one i had originally targetted also for the price. But i bit the bullet and jumped right into the luxurious lens

Will you be using any lighting gear?

If you're not going to get additional lighting, then both of those lenses are probably a bit slow for shooting people indoors. You'd be better off with an f/2.8 lens. In addition, on a crop sensor, neither of them are going to be particularly wide for full body shots.

You should consider the EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS lens (FM Reviews) - it seems far better suited to your requirements than either of these lenses.

1. It is wider - easier to frame full body indoor shots of people.
2. Larger aperture - more bokeh, more light, faster shutter speed, generally better indoors.
3. It has IS - again, it will make it easier to get the shot indoors.

On the downside, it is a bit short on the long end - only 55mm. That said, if you added an 85mm f/1.8 lens to the 17-55f/2.8IS you'd have a pretty sweet combination for portraiture - both wide and long. And no flash necessary
