You know I'll be there. I think I may drive this time, instead of the train. Even though, I did get a pretty good nap in on my way back to St. Louis.

I'm only a few hours away in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, but May is a bad month for me. I'm already booked every weekend in May (photo booth rental for weddings), and anticipate I'll have 2-3 jobs per weekend by the time May arrives.

I've actually been itching to do some more photojournalistic-style photography, but it's been too damn cold. It's warming up a bit (in the 30s today), so maybe I'll wander around this weekend.

I would definitely be interested in taking part in this. Since reading about last year's walk, there's been an idea in my head that I would like to pursue. Having lived in the Chicago area all of my life, I have loved going out on my photography excursions, looking for whatever interesting things I could find. These have been most often alone, by myself. But, that's always been part of the experience and interest for me. A solitary feeling, just me and my camera against the city, blending in, shooting whatever caught my eye.

As for the photo walk, I would like to, more or less, document it. Candid style images of photographers at work (or play) with this beautiful city as an element or backdrop. I think it would be an awesome opportunity and challenge for myself and, hopefully, I would be able to squeeze out some nice keepsakes for the other participants. The social aspect of it, meeting everyone and having a good time, is definitely the appeal to me, also.

If no one would object to me taking this approach to the day...please, count me in. Hopefully, it will be a day that I can participate and will make every effort to do so. I will keep an eye out for more details as they are decided. If there's any help I can give, please let me know.

Hi Jon,
I will do my best to be there, wherever it is decided to go. Any one of the sites look good.
Thanks for keeping me posted. I thought the last one was great fun and got some very good shots of Chicago. I even had one put into Schmap Chicago Eigth Edition. Sorry about the brag, couldn't help myself.
Looking forward to the walk already.

Charles
