I've been semi-stalking the Scott Kelby site to watch for details and see if this was happening again. Imagine my happiness as I looked this morning and saw It Is!

I immediately signed up for the Des Moines, Iowa one. And, if there is an evening one in the area, I might do that as well!

Thanks for the heads up, I participated last year and liked it. Maybe I'll be a group leader this year since ours sucked last year!

I led one last year, and I'm hoping that someone leads one in my area this year. I'm just too flat out to do it myself. They're definitely fun though. And a great chance to meet up with people who aren't necessarily involved in your other groups of people (e.g. Flickr, camera clubs, meetup.com, etc.).

I took part in my local one last year by accident with my old P&S, now I have found a true love for photography I will be turning up with more of a passion this year.

I went last year and will be attending this year also. Just haven't decided on which one yet. They usually have 2 or 3 in my area. Its a good time with alot of like minded folks.

Looks like they got one just a few miles from me. I may try attend it if I'm able to. Looks like it's at the botanical gardens here. I shoudl probably send an invite out to the members of the Michigan Social Photographers Group here on DPS.

Thanks for the heads up! I did one in Westfield NJ last year, although I wanted to do it in NYC but they were full. I just signed up for one starting at Grand Central Terminal. Here are a few of my shots from last year.

A photographer friend of mine invited me via facebook! I signed up immediately for the Louisville, Ky walk! There are over 50 people signed up here, so this should be fun! I've never done something like this with that many people- for once I won't be the only dork running around with a camera around my neck!
