I have!
We went to a local nature area's waterfall tour, with a meetup.com photo group.
I was leary at first, but chatted with many of the people online first...that made it much easier.

Turned out to be very fun!
Even learned a few tips about photographing waterfalls.

I've been on a few - just like walking down the street and bumping into twenty other people that do what you do and love what you love. (most of the time!)

Gotta love a good photo walk!

Default I'd love to take a photo walk and I did by accident.

I was taking a solo photo walk in Venice Beach and saw a man with a camera shooting. He saw me and my camera and we started walking together very naturally until I had to part ways to meet a friend.
What I liked was, I didn't feel like the odd person with a camera, it was like being a part of something bigger.
A group would be great. I'm thinking of looking up some Photography meet-ups in the area and just go. I like the idea and now to find the time.
Thanks for the topic.
Anyone want to walk in So. Cal?

Hilarious. I'm all about shankin' when the situation calls for it too. Here's hopin' we don't need to cut someone while out on a photo walk.

I went on the last dps Chicago outing, and after commenting and chatting with the people here, it was like getting together with old friends. Hope to meet more this year.

I've been on plenty of photowalks, with people I've known and new people. Going when you don't know anyone can be a bit scary, but it's still fun once you get into it.
