Default My First Post
This is the first time I have ever posted on here so lets hope I can figure this out :-) I took these shots yesterday for a local singer/songwriter. It was my first shoot for someone who is not family! A big step for me. Thx for checking it out. -Caitlin

Welcome to DPS, Caitlin. Your model is beautiful and your shots do her justice. She should be be very pleased with the results. Since you have posted this is the SYS (Share Your Shots) section, I am going to assume you are not looking for constructive criticism and save that for another post.

you did a great job! posing and comp is great, the only thing that i noticed was they seemed alittle on the dark side, perhaps brighten them up just a touch...

LOL I gotta tell you, I love her expression and your composition on that second shot. By far my favorite of the set! Great job on the portraits and congrats on photographing someone other than family! It was scary my first time.

Not sure what the subject was looking for, but the emotion and warm colors in #1 work for me! Lovely shot, IMHO.l

Thanks so much everyone!! Its nice to get feedback from people with experience! :-) She was very pleased with the end result and immediately following her posting of the shots on her facebook...I was asked by another performer to do a shoot for her as well!
