Smile Outdoor shoot with a model

This was my first attempt with a model, tried balancing the ambient light with the off camera flash.

All three are very nice. However, I'm really liking the last one. Great composition, lighting and DOF. Love her pose, too. Thanks for sharing.

I like the whole set. The first would be my favorite. I love the night sky, her in the dark clothes and the light skin. Great pic.

Most excellent. Your balanced fill flash work is outstanding. There is a thread here on DPS "Strobist - Show us how you took it" - I would encourage you to share your image(s) and your set up on that thread. I think many (including myself) would enjoy learning more about how you set up and took these great shots.
