She is beautiful and the picture is great.
Enough said,

but I would say get rid of the possible distracting button her her left side ,(right side of the image).

Good job

I'm new to this but for what it's worth I really like the shot. =)

I would agree with Daytonj6 about the button. Also there seems to be a little spec(maybe something in her hair?) between the tree and her forehead?

It is beautiful, well exposed an composed.

Agree on the button. Clone it out?

Also her lips are looking a bit chapped.

When thats all I can come up with, have to give you a thumbs up!

Great BNW and portrait. Her pose is excellent, perfect, but I feel that the focus drops on her skarf more than her eyes.. hmmm..?

I think it's nice. I like the crop, pose, and expression.

The scarf seems a bit much, and I'd probably clone out the button.

Thanks so much for all the advice guys! This was my first shoot working w/ my 50mm f/1.8 with which I can only do manual focusing on my camera, so the focus may not be on her eyes exactly. Thanks =)

I agree about cloning out the button. Also, I think I would lighten up the shadow under her right (relative to her) eye.

Nice job, though. I like her intensity.

In a head and shoulders image it is all about the head and shoulders and nothing else. In the above image the hand is too white and too distracting. Clone it out and see if you don't like the image a whole lot more. IMHO simplicity is one of the most underused of the compositional aids is portrait photography.
