hey, that is a lovely photo. I am sure others will post more informative stuff than I but usually for portraits you dont want to highlight something that takes the attention off of the main focus,which in this case would be the couple.

Nice photo, but I do find my eyes drawn to the barn instead of the couple. Having them in color and all else B&W might be nice - snowy days seem to lend themselves to that anyway. I think that and maybe a little blur would place the emphasis on them, and away from a problimatic background/sky.

I feel like his white shirt on the white snow makes the guy sorta disappear in the photo. She pops off the screen a lot more in her black shirt.

Nicely composed photo. But as was said earlier, selective color that draws the eye away from the subject of the photo just doesn't work.
