Default winter window light

Hey just playing with the window lighting. What if anything can I do to improve this. I know I should have shown a little more area of where she was looking to, is it okay as is with her centered. I know if you go too high (in size)the shot is not super clear. I should have closed that down a little and the 400 ISO is that too much for right there ? Thanks for your help.

THE NEW PHOTO IS POSTED BELOW********************************************* *** in a reply

Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)

You might try boosting the saturation a little in post, to help bring the colors out more. Also, her black tee shirt on a black couch makes discerning her body from the background a bit hard.

Focused really well on her eyes, though!

i don't mind her being centered tbh, but i would have rotated her body a little more, so she's not perpendicular to the camera.

agreed on boosting the saturation as it looks flat.

but yes, pretty well focused, and her eyes did manage to grab my attention.

that blue fleece blankie does nothing for me either, but i know that wasn't the point

Thanks for the critique. I cropped it and added some saturation and played with the green and reds. Can I do anything to make this photo "pop" or is this as good as I can get it ? What do you think about the picture quality? I guess I should have had her wearing a different color shirt ? She wasnt really posing just sittin on the couch and I grabed the camera. I do want to get them profesional looking is my goal. I have family that always wants me to take thier pics so I am trying to get them to look better. Thanks for the help.I really appreciate it.

okay I will not beat this dead horse any longer after this pic but how does this one look. I trimmed it up, I had already fixed the color( or so I think). I was trying to get better composition out of it. So can I get final eval on this thing and then I'm moving on to another pic. Thanks for those that have commented/helped me along here.

composition check
