This is my 3 year old who loves to take pictures. As long as her Daddy is doing it. Thought ont the picture, all are welcome.

Aww, she's a cutie, and it's a sweet snapshot.
Not wild about the angle - looking right up her nose isn't the most flattering. The dead-center composition isn't working, either. Have you read up on "the rule of thirds"? Also, using onboard flash tends to give pretty harsh lighting. I'm assuming you're using the pop-up flash - when needed for fill, you can dial down the power and/or diffuse it with something as simple as a tissue taped over it. Better still, try natural light - put her near a window that doesn't have direct sunlight coming in, and use something like a white posterboard to reflect some light on the opposite side. That being said...you're lucky to have such an adorable model to practice on! Keep shooting and posting! |
