I almost like the composition - it's cropped a bit tightly (I don't mind head chops, but this is a little low, and you cut off his chin, too). Did you crop in post or in-camera? The expression is unusual, it's kind of cute and quirky. But...you're white balance is way off. His skin is orangey-red. Did you do some post processing on his eyes? They look strange - the irises and pupils are very dark and have no light in them at all, but the whites look like they've been whitened pretty harshly.

I agree with what you think. The picture has not been cropped at all though, that is as far as my arms could reach with the 50 mm lens. As for the skin tone, it was shot in a snow storm and i have an usually hard time with snow photography, something about the lighting, but i will take note of that. I did try to warm it up a bit. And you are right about they eyes they do not look natural. I am a beginner to the post production stage for sure, and still trying to learn what is overdone and what isn't. Thank you for your critique though, all very good things to work on!
