I agree, the background is a bit boring. For a silhouette, since your subject is fully darkened out, your background is important to either draw in a viewer or to showcase something special abou the environment.
Since the subject is just in shadow with no details, I wonder whether creating more space around her would help the composition seem more interesting as well (rather than having her fill the whole photo). |

I like idea of a wider crop as well. Also, the way the background is currently, there is a bush right in front of the belly on the left hand side that seems to be grabbing at the belly. It's distracting for me. of course, if you blow out the background, that won't be a problem.

How can I blow out the background? I tried using the curves but the outcome wasn't good. Can somebody help me? Thanks.
And I also tried something else with lighting effects.
