Default Portrait of a 6 year old girl

Hi All

I would love some critique on this shot, Mainly on the composition and lighting. The Details are as follows

Make: Olympus
Model: E520
Shutter Speed: 1/80th
F Stop: F5.6
ISO: 400
Focal Length: 42mm
Flash: Fired

I have added some sharpening to the eyes and softening to the face in post processing. All Advice and Critique is more than welcome thankyou

Btafly,

What a beautiful girl. I really like the expression on her face. Composition looks great to me, if I was really picky I would say it might be nicer if the shot was taken after a little more above her. (make sense)

Other then that the lighting looks good to me but then again I'm new so I will let the experts answer that .. ..

I like it alot. Lots of people don't like "upside down" shots but I do them frequently and my clients seem to like them. I have no critique on your image as it was done very nicely.

Excellent use of window light. In the lighting, the only recommendations that I would make is to use a piece of white poster board or something slightly reflective on camera right to help even out the lighting on the face. The dress appears slightly overexposed (possibly due to the flash). Close the flash and allow the window light. This will also warm the image slightly as flash tends to cool off an image.
