Default rubber ducky you're the one

hey all! have always enjoyed taking pictures but now really trying to learn the craft. have been readin the e book and learning from it and this site. not sure i know enough yet to even know what to ask you. i guess for starters how is the composition? does it need more contrast? is it in focus? thought b&w with yellow duck kind of a cool setting on camera. used a canon powershot s2 is. cropped it way down for impact. looked a little too common in original format. thnx for feedback!

One thing to watch out for when you do selective coloring is the edges. The edges on the duck arent quite lining up. Try zooming WAY in to make sure you get them close.

I think I would have liked to have seen the duck turned just a hair. Just enough where its little beak might be seen more

I checked out some of the other ones on your Flickr site and it sure looks like you were having a great time
