Default BW portrait of little fingers

Hi

After working on the tips and points shared by the critiques, I have tried to shoot the lovely little fingers of my little angel again.. Appreciate if you can give me the detailed critique on the picture and let me know if this time I did justice to the picture?

I took the photo in color but changed it to BW using photoshop -> Lab Color technique!
Also let me know if the exposure is correct?

Can you link to previous attempts? It seems to me like the big hand dominates the little one without giving the smaller one its due, does that make any sense?

I'd try something like a palm-to-palm or something like that... I think the thing that should "pop" from the photo should be the little hand, and in this one the large hand is what pops.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for you comments, and yes my hand seems to dominate her's . Here is another shot that I took of her hand and my fingers. Please critique this one (this picture looks much in focus than my previous thread http://digital-photography-school.co...ce-needed.html).

And, I would appreciate if you can also give feedback on the original image on exposure and focus?

Your image is much clearer than your previous attempts. Compositionally, I like your first image better because the background isn't as busy, and my eyes are really drawn to the subject (Little fingers).

Thanks for the comment kornbread! What I could understand is that the first picture has good composition but not clear (is it too dark?) and the second image is clearer but compostion is not that great (may be the background be more blur?). Please advice!
