In this case, I feel she is too low in the frame, maybe cropping down so her eyes are on the top third line would make for a better photograph. I am not a fan of the hair covering the eyes. Keep snapping....

I like the bw, good contrast...but yeah the pose is a little blah. Put people on an angle instead of straight on. Unfortunately I am also a big proponent of the 'get your hair out of your eyes' movement.

I like how the light is centered around your subject - whether that was how it was exposed or if it's a vignette - but the pose itself doesn't do much. Looks almost like you said "pose!" and she stood up against the wall. Great contrast and tone mapping, but work a bit on your composition.

I would go for a different crop for that photo..
What do you think. I know the lighting effect has gone, which was lovely, but i feel this crop works better for the pose. I have also lightened her a little
