Default Self-portrait with eyes closed

Hi, I'm new to portrait photography, and I wanted to ask about composition in this picture. I cropped it enough not to include some parts of my hair that didn't look good...
I also edited it and blurred my skin, but I'm not sure if that was a good idea, so any tips are welcome.

I don't like the vignette at all, I'd have cropped it just below your shoulder.

Your skin edit looks nice, and you had a very attractive model to work with.

Interesting portrait. I like the pose and the eyes closed. Lighting looks good to me. I also like the crop, off center and showing a bit of the hand on the upper arm. That, combined with the closed eyes creates (for me) a sense of self protection or secrecy/mystery. I do not like the vignette and the skin looks really yellow-green to me.
Take it back to postproduction and make some changes and you will have a stunning self portrait.
