Question My brother and his GF

Meg & Ben 12-31-2009

Camera: Nikon D60
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/4.8
Focal Length: 90 mm
ISO Speed: 1400
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Auto, Fired, Return detected

So, I took this photo just after it got dark, it was still fairly light out, so there is a lot of noise in the photo, but I really like the location, it's shot at Edan park Cincinnati Ohio. This park has an overlook of the Kentucky side of the Ohio river from high up (Maybe 200ft.) on a hill. I have some other shots that I am thinking about stitching together to make this where they are centered. What do you guys think of the shot?

I love the location. Centering them a little might work, but I would have to see it. Too bad you didn't catch them in a more candid pose, that would have really made it for me. Just my opinion. The flash makes them look a bit flat, but I understand you had little light. I think it is a great shot and they will love it.

Nice photo.

I think I would have let the ambient light contribute a little more to the photo to help with the surroundings, but that's just me.

Yeah, I thought of that, and in some of the shots earlier I did somewhat, but the light was gone by the time we got to this location pretty much. When I tried it without the flash, the picture died.

I did catch them smootching on the bridge (see flickr) though.

here's a bit more intimate though for this scene.
