Yes, my son's face is a bit (alot!) blown out...as I am completely new to this whole digital photography caper, I am still to learn about the whole post-processing stuff as well and so have little idea on how to fix it. Thanks for the complements on the composition though

Do you have any programs like Photoshop? If so, you might be able to adjust the exposure a bit and at least tone it down. Also you might try the Brightness/Contrast area. Most photo programs have one. It might help. The are a multitude of tutorials and articles concerning use of programs such as photoshop and they can be a big help, along with the great people on this site. Keep shooting, you seem to have a good eye for captures.
