![]() EXIF: Camera: Nikon D50 Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160) Aperture: f/4.0 Focal Length: 70 mm Exposure Bias: -1/3 EV Flash: No Flash Another pose of the three sisters, this time in landscape. Adjusted exposure, that was about it. I am not sure if I should crop a bit more from the right hand side to give it a little better balance. What do you think? Also, while the photo is level, is the "slant" of the pose too distracting? Any other CC welcome. Other pose discussed here: http://digital-photography-school.co...1-sisters.html Thanks, Anne |

very attractive subjects......
![]() i think the pose is good....that slant adds a bit of interest and leads my eye from face to face......i think you're on the right track thinking that a sliver off the right would improve the composition......but, if you do that you have to sacrifice either a slice off the bottom or top as well...and that would make them look too crowded in the field..so, i would leave it as is...... it is a tad warm and it has the women on either side looking a bit ruddy.....and you're right.....that's a fairly easy fix in post......while you're at it.....add the tiniest bit of tweak to the contrast as well.....it's a little low now and it's "flattening" their faces...... i do want to suggest that the next time you shoot a group portrait that you might want to go for a slightly wider depth of field......at 4, i see that the model to the right's eyes are a bit out of focus...... all in all, it's a nice, intimate portrait of sisters and i am sure they are happy with the results..... ![]() peeper |
