absolutely love the shot. Great pose. The lighting is nice too. The only few things I'd mention is that the bottom part of her belly is cut off, since its obviously showcasing her preggo belly, I'd like to see the shot go just a little lower. Also, it may just be me but I think I can see a bra design through her shirt. That would be something you might want to clone out Also you might want to clone out the bottom left dark spot. Great photograph She looks like shes very comfortable with you taking pictures! I'm jealous. My wife won't let me come anywhere near her.

Great photo, I might have used a different coloured back ground so that there was more contrast as her top is almost the same colour. There is also a shadow or something in the bottom left hand corner that could be cloned out.

Overall great shot though well focused and well compositioned

Thank you both kindly. Actually, the 'backdrop' I purposely made it the same color as her shirt because there was a discussion earlier about what backdrops you should travel with. It's a four light set up, and the background light was gelled with a light red gel at like 1/16th power. That's actually a plain white painted wall. The little black lower left corner is my actual backdrop that I have hanging in my bedroom turned studio. LOL. That angle was tight, and I didn't want to use a wide angle lens, as she is wide enough.

I complained about the bra, but she wouldn't take it off. And I'm more of a better light, less photoshop kind of guy. I believe that everything you can do in photoshop, you can do with enough proper light. I went and re-edited the picture to remove the black corner, and it was a simple crop. Guess it was late and I was lazy. Here is the 'revamped' version.

***Edit*** I just scrutinized the photo at 100%, that 'bra pattern through the shirt" is actually the thread pattern of her dress. Guess the photo is too sharp.

Is there such a thing as too sharp? If thats her dress design then way to go! Great job catching detail. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents for the background. I really like the color choice. It really gives an overall mood to the shot.

I like the choice of background color. It compliments her skin tone. The retouch looks good. There is one thing that keeps catching my eye and distracting me: Her elbow keeps looking at me.

I agree somewhat with ctcook on the distracting elbow. Maybe you could ask her to put both her hands on her tummy. The contrast is really good & her eyes are really beautiful.

LMFAO. That elbow is kind of poking out of the frame and into the face. But she loved it the most. This one was actually my favorite from the set.

Thanks for all of the comments my friends.

This one is better from a portrait point of view. Again I got to say lovely eyes.
Nice shot.

She looks so happy and peaceful. I like the backdrop, it gives a feminine feel, and being pregnant is about as feminine as you can get. Awesome work!
