ok, I gave it a shot. obviously, the quality of the photo is low, since i just copied and pasted it, but I think it'll give some ideas.
Mainly what I di was rotate them a little, crop them a little closer, and covert to B&W on one and lower the blue tones on the color photo. Hope they give you some ideas!

I think the cropping helps a lot. I don't have a lot to add, but she is a cutie!

Thanks All for the feed back. It's amazing what you can do in PP. Looks like I need to put in some effort there as well.
Thankfully, my kids are very willing subjects. At 4 and 2 they think the camera is neat. You should see my 4 year old compose pics with my point & shoot. She's really good. Dumb question, but if I don't ask, I wont know. What is "Lr"? From hitting the exposure and color correctly, how did I do? I am trying really hard to stick almost exclusively to Manual mode and really learn my camera. Thanks again for the feed back and Happy New Year! |

Sorry for the abbreviation, Lr stands for Lightroom, a photo ediiting program similar to Photoshop.
Overall, you did good for someone who isn't quite used to shooting in manual yet, Keep up the good work. |
