Default Ethereal or washed out?

Felicia

I took this of my daughter this past summer. I shot it in RAW and in the post processing backed off on saturation and contrast. Did I go too far? I wanted the photo to be soft, but I've often wondered if it's too washed out & if there's too much shadowing on her face. No flash was used. Ugh. I need some fresh eyes! Thanks!

I like this! Have you tried sharpening up the details a bit while keeping the color? I like the colors you used, i just feel like everything from her head down disappears. I opened this in photoshop and applied Boutwell Magic Glasses (which is an action you can demo from TRA) just to show you what i mean.

Default Thanks!

That looks nice! I like the subtle changes and richness, but without altering the feel of the photo! I had never heard of this plug in that you used, but not suprising since I'm a relative newbie to photoshop and post processing techniques! I will have to check it out! Thank you for the input! Much appreciated :-)

BOTH! Hee hee...I love it, it's a great portrait. Always wished I had some like this of myself...
