This is actually a picture that I took a year ago of my nephew (sorry i can not remember the exact settings). I recently got back into photography, and came across this site and love all the great tips.
I've also decided to go back through older photos (like this one) and re-edit them. This one was orginally in color and I changed to black and white and warmed up the tones. Just a general question... Is it too soft? Is it too dark? What would you have done differently? I know pretty vague questions...but again, I'm new to any kind forums except for critques in a classroom...so all the advice and help is well appreciated! |

I like the picture but maybe a have more of a gradient between the sharpness and vignette. seems like the sharp parts are right next to the really soft parts. Im a newbie too though but thought I'd share my opinion.
