First session with a model

Ok, this was my first session with a model. I'm curious to know about the composition. I've got a couple other shots of the model, but I thought this was the best of the series.

i like it.. the lightning is perfect and the model too.. but i think she's over reactin' a lil' bit....i mean. it's just my point of view,,, im not a pro..

Light, composition, outfit all look very good however I agree with mirinda the model is overdoing the expression.

I'd recommend using a chroma blue backdrop to make the colors pop.. the grey is okay but mutes all colors... other than that.. nice shot.

Couple of things to watch for. The few strands of hair right behind her. Right by her lower back there seems to be something white, was it part of her outfit.

Watch her head position. Just a tiny movement towards you would alleviate the odd shape by her mouth and also enable more of her right eye to be seen.

Judging by her outfit, it looks kind of like a sexy outfit, why not have her still doing the surprise thing but have her other hand almost covering her mouth? If you knwo what I am talking about, that little girl, naughty gesture thing that she's surprised she got a present but really all ready knew that she did. Did that make sense?

Thanks all for the input. We have a photogroup here, and the model came for us to get some experience as well as her get some. The setting was in one of our members homes, so I didn't have the chance to set the stage as it were. Thanks for the feedback on position and expression.
