Default 5 Kids (Christmas Photo)

hi, i'm new here but i would love some critique on this photo. these are my two kids and my sister in law's three. the baby and the youngest boy are mine.

f/4.0, 1/40, ISO 400, external flash fired, b&w action in PP

I love the concept and they are all adorable! I love the baby laughing! I would have moved the girl in the white shirt in a manner the would allow you little boy to have head forming more of a circle. The only other thing is I probably would have had the girl in the white shirt with something darker on to match the tones of the rest of the children.

I agree with these points, and I'd add that it would have been good to get all of the kids looking at the camera. Of course, this is next to impossible, and you did a fabulous job getting them as focused as you did!

The shot really works - these are just minor points that might have improved the balance.

Agree that it's great as is but could be even better with the points above. Congrats, I can't even get my twins to be still and look at the same time, never mind five! What'd you bribe them with?

thanks everyone! there was no bribing involved but it did take about 150 shots to get ONE that looked decent! it sure was a challenge!!!
