Default Does Small Depth of Field bring anything?

Hi every one!

Experiencing perspective, I shot myself from above with a big aperture. I really liked the result at the beginning but then I started to wonder, if the small depth of field really brings something to the picture... What do you think about it? would it improve the picture to shot with a bigger DOF?

Please, feel free to critize!

Thanks for your help!!! I sometimes have ideas but I find it really hard to exploit it to make it a GOOD idea :-D

I think that the shot is interesting, if you redo it with a deeper dof it may lose something. I'd try to do it just so you can compare.

I like the shallow DOF, it really adds something. One thing that bothers me is the wall - I think the shot would improve if we only saw you, the floor, and the shoes.

Default Thanks

Thanks for your comments and advice! I'll try again and let you know :-)
(I actually like the wall but I'll try without it to compare...)

Since you are going to shoot it again, how about putting your eyes in focus and let the rest of it fall off ? Great idea, play with it some more.

I would say leave it as it. Its a good shot and any more dof would just be to much. Keep up the good work.

what a creative idea! I really like the composition with all of the different shoes. Very cool and unique picture!
