Default Cropping

Hi

can you advise please? How would you crop this. I added white to the right but now i'm not so sure.

althought I am not a pro, I think there is too much white space. I would let just half of it, and maybe some also on the top, so we can follow the direction of the eyes (to up right)

I wouldn't crop it. In my opinion it works very well. His eyes leads you to the white, and makes me think "what is he looking at!"

I would crop it... but in square ... it is a good compromise :-)

Thanks 1980 and Soup. Good suggestions. Feel free to crop and upload, it's a low rez to keep in line but I would be able to see the idea. I'm into different crops at the moment from tight half a head with jaunty angle to extra s-p-a-c-e..... All very interesting to help my learning curve. What a great forum.

Could try a portrait crop too, instead of landscape, with more white above his head since he's looking up, not to the left. I like the shot
