Default Baby Niece in a ray of light

Here is a shot of my niece with a nice ray of sun light from the window.
Shot with:
Canon 50D
Lense 24-70mm f/2.8L
Focal - 50mm
f/4.0
1/80th

I know her face looks a little blown out but I think that is part of the charm of the photo. What do you guys/gals think?

I think the lighting looks really great in this photo. The sun beam adds nice drama to it all. I like how there's just enough light to separate her dark hair from the background.

The only thing I might suggest with this photo is cropping; after seeing her face first, my eyes wandered off to the slightly highlighted area of the wicker thing she's leaning on, in the bottom right of the picture.

Great job though.

I agree that the light creates the necessary drama for this shot... it definitely doesn't look blown own, but emphasized

She's gorgeous too! I like the detail you get here; the curls & weave texture. The light serves to soften her-amidst all that detail too.
The bokeh cuts down the distraction of the angles behind her as well. i might've cropped down a little more?
Great color. Great capture.
