I'm not a pro by all means, but just looking at this, my eye jumps from the girl back to the tree. Maybe try cropping in tighter, eliminating a bit of the tree in the foreground? It kinda takes away the emphasis on the subject.

Great image, i like the selective color. I enjoy the texture of the tree but the fence not so much. I would agree with the previous post and at least try a tighter crop.

The "knot" in the tree being on the right 1/3 and directly in the center is distracting. Leave some of the texture of the tree but crop it to where the girls face is in roughly the same position as theknot and I think you will have a much better shot.

I usually don't like selective coloring but this works for me.

Well lit subject, but the busy background and the huge tree compete for the eye's attention.

I like it but would like it much better with a tighter crop - BUT not the one suggested. I don't like the fence and would crop most of the area to the left of the girl out and some of the top -- that would make it a great shot in my mind. I attached my suggestion below. I did notice when I looked at the larger version that the girl really is not in focus which you don't see on the small one you posted.
