Default Xmas portrait / Xmas card

Took these as a favor for my wifes brother. I feel like I have the composition good but that about the lighting and mood? Second pic is a little more proccesed but trying to create a "mood" is it better or worse than original?

It does look a little over-processed but I like the PP photo better. It's warmer (lends to the mood) and her hair looks better in PP. The little boy's face has good coloring but it looks a little overexposed...that's the only thing I would change on the PP photo, I believe.

Great work!

I like the tones in the second photo better (warmer) but I prefer a less processed look to the skin, like in the first. Maybe a soft glow or soft focus filter would be nice. I think it is a very lovely photo though.

Very nicely done. I think either would make a great gift. The second one does seem a bit overdone (but not much). The first is fantastic as is, in my opinion. Either way, I like them.

I like the first one better. I agree that in the second one the boy's face is overexposed. If you changed that then the second one would be better. Very nice job with the composition.

Very nice job...I like the pp best, except that skin tone is blown out on the boy's face. If you can bring it back a little, I'd go with that one.
