Default Malibu Border!
Hi guys,

Despite the obvious slant of the guy, can I get some feedback on the overall shot? I took this on my little point/shoot Canon IXUS camera as I have only just moved up to a DSLR.

By any chance do you have your exif information you could post for us? Knowing your camera settings can play a huge part in offering you help

I don't really have any settings for you, it was just a standard IXUS 90IS, on 'auto' mode with a slight zoom.

I would really like tips on the lighting and the way I should pose surfers? I have a few people who would like shots done with my SLR camera and would like ideas on how to pose them.

By using Microsoft's Pro Photo Tools, I was able to recover the EXIF information for you. Here it is:

Shutter: 1/200 sec.
Aperture: f/11
ISO: 80
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Focal Length: 11.6mm
White Balance: Auto
Metering Mode: Pattern
Flash: No flash
