Question Something Missing...

I can't quite figure out what it is, but something seems off here to me. I purposely have the picture tilted, but is it enough? Should I not tilt it at all? Should I crop it closer? If anyone could help me figure out whats off I'd really appreciate it. And I apologize, but could someone remind me how to find the EXIF. I'm pretty new to all of this, so I just can't remember. I'll update with it as soon as I figure it out. Thank you for your patience with a newbie

I think that when you tilt, if you tilt just a little it looks like an accident. I think that might be what is happening in this case. I think you could have done a more or none at all. You can still do this using a post processing program (photoshop or others). I like the image, the expression and how he's posed but for me it seems flat. If you have access to a program to edit, I would play with the levels and contrast....

Great capture, although at least on my monitor it seems a bit dark and soft.

Armando

Levels layer adjustment
sharpness layer
unsharp mask layer
drop shadow frame

Hay Shannon,

When you say EXIF are you meaning ISO, Shutter speed etc? if so there are a couple of ways. 1 right click the image and hit properties. 2 open the image in Windows Photo gallery and hit File on the top left, then properties. There are many other ways but these are two off the top of my head. Oh' try tilting the image a little more and if you don't like it......Put it back completely level again. Personally I like the tilt, I would try to give a a little more punch while changing the contrast too. great shot thou :0)

Warmly

Christian
