the positives.

Nice rich colours, nice exposure, no hotspots, good sharp image. Nice touch that the purple int he jumper is accented by the eye make up.

the not so goods.

not a flattering angle. TRy shooting from above vs below. Somewhat bizzarre pose. Too many background distractiions.

That's what she looks like when your in trouble?Funny I cant take a photo of my hubby either, It's because they see you behind that camera and go all strange,Get her to tell you something about her day and to talk with you so she is not so uptight.I normally tell people I shoot if the dont get into it,I will make them look realy bad and put a big pimple on them!!!! that makes them smile!

Thanks yall. You know i think we took over 200 pictures that day in different outfits and that picture to me was the best. I wished I had got on our step ladder and took that picture looking down on her. I've read that taking a picture from underneath a subject is a no, no so i try not to do that. I'm learning and will give it a shot. My wife loves to dress up and take pictures but because of her size most of them she does not like. I need to learn the right angles for photographing a plus size woman. Any one have any insight?

Hi Jerel

You could have her laying on her back nicely relaxed, or maybe with her back slightly arched, taking a picture from the side, or take a photo with her face closest to the camera with her body trailing away and going out of focus. Or, You standing on the top of the stairs shooting down to her on ground level while she looks up at you. Just a thought.

Warmly

Christian
