Thanks for the welcome guys n girls
Paul this wasnt my 1st day but ! I have only had my D40 for 1.5 weeks. Taken 1400 shots testing and playing with it. I hav'nt had a good explore with it ye,t but I will post all the results as I do Nelkz |

The wide angle distorts the child's face,the right side of his face is shadowed and the background is distracting. The shot is also very soft. I would consider learning PP skills as you learn to take photos as they will compliment each other and your photos will improve much quicker.
