Talking How Many Piggies Do You See?

Hi all! I'd really like all your comments and critique on this image. It is the best of 3, and overall I think it's pretty cute. My biggest concerns are the sharpness (viewing large is best to assess), and the brightness on her left shoulder (overexposed?). Is it very distracting??

All other areas of critique are more than welcome. Thanks so much!!

Jael

its not letting me see it larger. As far as I can tell it is pretty good overall. To make it better you would have moved her about a foot to camera left to not have the overexposure on her fac and shoulder but it certainly does not kill this beutiful portrait. Everything seems pretty sharp to me too. oh after looking again moving her also would give you just the brick wall and lose the b/g fence which would add to it.

the sharpness is good from what i can tell. the light over there is a bit distracting bc her face is a bit shadowed. really good contrasting colors. you might even wanna try a tighter crop but very cute

Sorry about the access problem my friends, checked it and thought it would let you see it since it was a direct link.

Thank you for your insight Jeff. I would've liked to have moved her (or myself), especially to get all brick in the background instead of the fence, but she was sitting on a sand box that inhibited my movement as well as hers. Appreciate your feedback very much.

Thank you for your comments. Perhaps I can brighten her face up or tone down the brightness on her shoulder. I'm pretty sure I didn't increase the exposure in post, so I may be stuck w/ it. I'll see what improvement a tighter crop makes. Thanks!

The shot seems a bit on the underexposed side, and could use some detail in the area around the face.

Thank you Armando. I like your edit. I will definitely work to even out the shadowed side of her face. Thanks.

Okay, I played w/ the shadows and highlights to try to bring back some of the brighter areas, and decrease some of the shadows across her face and through her eyes. What do you all think of this edit?

I also used the clone brush (set to darken) to minimize the hot spots on the left side of her face.

Did I go too far? Not far enough?? Thanks everyone.

Here's a cropped version, per St. Jude's recommendation...
