Default Do you see the lines in the picture?

Lately I have been getting these artifacts and lines in my backgrounds. I took this picture in RAW and only sharpened the eyes, so it is not from over-processing. I just started using RAW, is that why I am having these issues?
When I vies the image in Photoshop or online I see them, but I don't see them in my Picasa gallery.
This is just a snapshot, but I am getting this in my portraits too and it is very frustrating. Thanks for any suggestions!

I don't see anything either. Can you point out exactly where they are in this photograph? Are you cropping in post or is this SOOC?

I also don't see anything. If you can post a cropped image showing off the problem, maybe we can try to figure it out.

And since this is in the critique area (for some reason):

Sharpening in PP is a poor substitute for proper focus.

it might not be the pictures, but your monitor. try viewing them on a different computer or with a different monitor.

All clear down here too.

Looks like either a monitor or graphics card thing going on at your end. At least it's not your camera

@ I speak in math: This is in the critique section because I feel like there is an issue with it and I am trying to figure out how I can improve it - seems like a critique question to me. Also, I always sharpen eyes.

Thanks to everyone else. I guess it is just my monitor(s). I can see the lines/blotches in the background even at this size. I wasn't noticing them before I started shooting in RAW, so I thought I was doing something wrong. Thanks for looking!

if it's happening on multiple monitors, it's your gfx card. see if there are any updates for it and make sure that the monitors are securely plugged in.

My point was, its better to get the eyes sharp when taking the image. Not to take soft, almost oof, shots and sharpen in PP. That doesn't result in a "good" image.

Her shoulder on the left looks sharp and in focus, but the rest doesn't. Her hair, for instance, isn't anywhere near in focus or sharp.
