I was wondering about the lighting. Do you think he looks to washed out? Or is the lighting nice.
Do you think I should crop the picture some? I was just thinking that with croping the swing chains might look weird.

try warming it up a little. the deep blue of the swing chains is somewhat distracting. that might be enough that you don't need to play around too much with the brightening. i would crop it slightly to the left or right to bring the subject off center.

Really cute picture and subject. I don't think he's washed out but there does seem to be a blue cast. I adjusted the curves, contrast and saturation. Sharpened just a little. I'll remove if you want.
