Hey all,
I am brand new into the world of being behind the lens. I have been a makeup artist for a few years and have been wanting to take to photography to capture my work. Here is a Zombie look I did for Halloween for a client. The environment in my front-yard is amazing for spooky effects, so I setup out there amongst old oak trees covered with Spanish moss. I set up three lights: an umbrella aimed into the trees, a large softbox in front of my client, and a small softbox on a boom for separation. I feel confident about this shot. The one thing I would do different is frame a bit differently to not catch that guide wire in the shot. I really want to grow as a photographer, so any critique given would be awesome! thanks in advance! Great makeup job!
I would totally crop this down so that great face fills the frame and gets rid of that wire! If you are comfortable with post processing I might also be inclined to redden the eyes, darken it up a hair and boost your contrast a bit
