![]() Exposure: 1/60 Aperture: f/4.5 Focal Length: 31mm ISO Speed: 400 Flash: SB-400 bounced off white wall (to left of camera) Camera: Nikon D40 w/ 18-55mm kit lens Hello All I snapped this off while goofing around with the kids. This has been processed through Lightroom 2. WB correction and then the aged photo presets. I like how the dog's collar comes in red compared to the rest of the photo. Should I stamp out my daughters ink stamps on her hands? Are they that distracting? They don't bother me cause she loves them and they are part of her almost daily. Is this too much dog and not enough kid? Is there too much bounce light to the right and not enough "fill" light? Would using the color version speak more to a stranger? Thanks for looking, -Dave Last edited by dsenglish; 10-02-2009 at 04:17 PM. |

That is absolutely adorable!!! I wouldn't clone out the stamps. They are part of her and what she likes to do. You did this photo for you and you alone. It's great! As far as the preset, I really like it with this picture, but it's always a personal opinion. My only niggle is that her hand is chopped at an odd place, but you're in a catch 22 because if you crop it higher you loose the dog's tag, which is worse. Anyway...I really like it.
