The color is nice, but although you have achieved a nice exposure the lighting is harsh and doesn't really match the burning you've done to get the black background. When using this composition it's usually a good idea to chop the arm from an edge of the frame, or alternatively fade it out to the background a little more softly so you don't get 'baby floating in mid air' as you have here.
I'd say this is a great start but you may want to practice a little more before selling similar shots.

Cute cute baby. But have to agree with KathrynWilson and PowerPix. The hand coming out of no-where makes it look very spooky. The lighting seems to be direct on, did you try bouncing it. My eye are drawn to the mom's fingers under the baby butt, it kind of looks awkward the way she has her fingers positioned.

I agree with the others - the way it was done with the burning and such - it looks rather flat.

Thanks for all the comments. I agree with the floating cut off arm, tried to crop to fix, but it just doesn't work because I have to cut off too much of Kiah's lovely head. I took this picture a couple of days before my external flash arrived so I will try again with some bouncing. Thanks again, I will keep trying.
