Senior portraits that I took myself. Just wanted your general thoughts about composition, coloring, post-production, and anything else you think is pertinent to the discussion. Thanks in advance for your helpful comments and suggestions.

The slightly off center composition is distracting. If you are going to leave negative space leave more of it. As it is it looks more like you accidentally had the subject off center instead of doing it on purpose.
Color looks good. Lighting is a little dull however good use of the sun as a hair light to create separation from the background. As for the retouching. It could use some more work. Especially the skin retouching. It looks splotchy especially around his chin area. Also remember to check the edges of the viewfinder when you take your picture. There is a tiny bit of tree brach in the top right corner.

Rex K is on the mark! I was going to suggest move back a little getting his other shoulder in and still keep it off center, Colours and natural lighting looks good. His green under shirt is a little off to blend in the blue, His skin needs PP or even try it B&W could work. But yea the composition needs to be sorted mainly

I don't mind the composition so much.... Is anyone else seeing a bit of green in his face? Could be my monitor though, I'm on school computers.
now that I take a second look cropping a bit off the top might make this one a bit stronger.
