potrait hazed

This was taken accidently, just point and shoot, i know the pic is not sharp, very hazy, but can this still be defined as a potrait? would it been better in b/w? or is it just boring..?

shoot in raw and crop it to capture the head and shoulder only.

btw: why is it like this? anything wrong at what i'm doing.?
