Default I was so hungry but, Daddy this is what you ordered for me?

This is my second portrait of Nadav.
I'd like to get second opinions on:
1) light (it is dim/warm because of the sunset, should I use the flash in such a case?)
2) Crop. Is it too much?
3) Composition. Does it work OK having the object in the center?
4) Timing and expresions.

Thanks in advance.

i think the womans face seems to be catching my eye too much. it is sort of distracting to me and my eye should be going to the beautiful boy. maybe a tighter crop or blur her out. hope this helps.

I want to know what they are looking at! To me it looks like something is going on that I should be aware of especially since you mention something about food.

Thanks for the helpful pointer.
I think a tighter crop balances the crop on the father and that works fine for me.
I like to find simmetry and balance and I just missed this one.

I have no pictorial evidence and you will have to take my word for that.
It was actually food, the wrong food. Nadav couldn't care less and wanted to dive in. His parents were of a different oppinion, the dish was not appropriate. The waitress took it back, apologized nicely and fixed her mistake right after that.

I only dreamt on getting your kind of reaction to the picture. That is what I wanted to accomplish!

Thanks!!!!!
