This is my first DSLR and this was taken with in my 1st week of owning it. I shot it with RAW+JPEG and I'm learning how to process RAW files. The original was quite blue and I'm trying to get a good portrait of my daughter. Any recommendations on post processing to make this photo better would be appreciated. My secondary desire is composition of the photo.

I'm no expert, but to me it would look better if you cropped out her hands...she is a doll.

Thanks for the feedback. I did crop this a little but I don't have the arms available. I'm curious, do you think if I crop just her face that it will be too overwhelming of a picture? I guess my next set of pictures I'll have to try to catch her with her hands down.
![]() Anybody have any suggestions on post processing? I basically changed the color balance and tweaked the levels a bit. I shot RAW so I had more options. Should I add an unsharp mask? Thanks! Azeiku |
